The Paris-London Eurostar journey is one of Europe's most iconic rail connections. In just 2h16, the high-speed train whisks you from the heart of Paris to central London, crossing the Channel Tunnel for a unique travel experience.
With frequent departures from Gare du Nord and direct arrival at St Pancras International, this route offers a fast and comfortable alternative to flying. No endless airport queues, no extra transfers to the city centre: Eurostar delivers you directly into the vibrant heart of the British capital.
The Journey
The journey begins at Paris Gare du Nord, a magnificent 19th-century station in the 10th arrondissement. Arrive 45 minutes to 1 hour before departure for security and British immigration checks, which take place in Paris.
After crossing the landscapes of northern France, the train enters the Channel Tunnel for approximately 20 minutes. Arrival is at St Pancras International, a sumptuously renovated Victorian station, steps from King's Cross and the British Library.
